EXECUTIVES FROM THE U.S. ARMY CADET
CORPS CONDUCTING SERIOUS MEETINGS
REGARDING POSSIBILITIES FOR CAMPUS OF
MILLERSBURG MILITARY INSTITUTE
Dear fellow alumni and friends of MMI. I have recently had correspondence with Maj
George Berghorn of the US Army cadet corps regarding his organization's interest in the
Millersburg Military institute campus as a possible headquarters for their organization,
and site for the Corp's youth training program. The US Army cadet corp has been in
existence for over 100 years and have a proven track record of success in training
young people in a distinctive Military environment. I have been very impressed with the
level of expertise and professionalism that Maj Berghorn and his colleagues have
demonstrated during their investigation and planning about the MMI property.
As part of their investigation. Maj Berghorn and his team visited the campus last week.
I would like to encourage you to read a copy of the USACC report.
